Hotel Rwanda is good but not great

Many film critics praised Hotel Rwanda, and they described how incredible the film was. The film was also nominated for Academy Award in a couple of categories. However, quite frankly, I believe that Hotel Rwanda is good but the film is that not amazing. Personally, I believe that many film critics praised Hotel Rwanda because of political correctness. Essentially, no one cared Rwanda and millions of people slaughtered back in 1994; in retrospect, it is clear that UN, all western countries and all other countries made a catastrophic mistake. It is great that some people decided to produce a film about the tragedy, but does the film tell the story accurately? I don't think it does. I believe the event was so horrifying; I believe what those who were in Rwanda in 1994 saw wasn't something you can just sit and watch peacefully for 2 hours. In other words, the film is not fearful enough to truly tell us what happened in 1994. The intension of producing the film was great. I also think that all actors did good job, but I still cannot say that the film tells us the true story. Thus, I say, "Hotel Rwanda is good but not great."
