Stories of Entrepreneurs
There aren't that many films based on the story of an entrepreneur. I suppose that "The Aviator" can be viewed that way, but as I wrote about the film several days ago, I did not think that it was such a great film. Besides, Howard Hughes was born-rich, so that makes the story less exciting and moving(to me anyway). Seabiscuit(the film) briefly introduces Henry Ford, but the film is not really related to Henry Ford. Personally, the story of Henry Ford is so fascinating and it can make a great film; he was a true entrepreneur. I don't think that we can call Henry Ford II, an entrepreneur, as he built his business upon his family business, but his story can make a good story(though people like Lee Iacocca probably thinks that Henry Ford II doesn't deserve to be a person on whose life any film is based).
John D. Rockefeller, Andrew Carnegie, J. P. Morgan, etc. They all have great stories. "Wall Street" is a story of an entrepreneur, though it's fictional. A Wall Street legend's story can make a great film; in addition to the potential to make a great film, you have potential of attracting 10 million+ people in New York metropolitan area, so there is a certain commercial potential right there.
Looking back the last several years, we heard a lot of unpleasant stories, and because of that, many of us feel like all business men and women are crooks and thieves, but it's not the case. At least up until mid 20th centuries, there were many great entrepreneurs including Henry Ford (I), John D. Rockefeller, Andrew Carnegie and J. P. Morgan. Making films based on comic books is pretty trendy in Hollywood nowadays, and I don't complain that, but I kind of want to see the tread of making films based on stories of true entrepreneurs.

Have you seen Startup.com? It isn't fiction, but tells a great business story. I would love to see more documentaries like that, any suggestions?
Also, there is a movie about a car entrepreneur. I don't remember what it was called.
