"The Bourne Identity" is one of more entertaining movies
1. One can relate to Jason Bourne(the main character) than other hero in other spy action movies(if one can ever relate to).
1.2. Jason Bourne is a pretty lonely character. He has no recollection of the past. He later remembers what happened to him three weeks ago, but that's pretty much all he can remember. Sense of loss is something many can relate to in this modern age.
1.3. He has about a dozen passports, but it only symbolizes that none of passwords represents him. He has no identity.
1.4. We learn very little about him even after we finish watching the movie. Narrative is not forced. Not too many stories are forced into 2 hours. The amount of information provided is sufficient, and that creates a good balance.
2. His company, Marie Helena Kreutz, is not one of those glamorous women who look like a model. Franka Potente who plays Marie Helena Kreutz is very pretty, but in "The Bourne Identity", she is not portrayed as a glamorous woman but she is rather portrayed as a girl who doesn't belong anywhere and has no possession. She becomes a very special person to Jason Bourne, but not to anyone else, that makes it a love story that many people can relate to.
3. Many scenes are shot in
