Sergi López

Great actors and actresses have very strong presence on screen, but Sergi López really stands out even among today's greatest actors and actresses. I was watching Dirty Pretty Things for the fourth time or fifth time a couple of days ago; all actors and actresses are great, but Sergi López really stands out. From what I learn from Stephen Frears' commentary on the movie, apparently, Sergi López did not speak English when they filmed Dirty Pretty Things; what he did in the movie is just amazing. The ability to become the character (Sneaky/Juan) and to create a very strong presence is remarkable.
