DVD class action lawsuit
We, the consumers, have to file a class action lawsuit against motion picture studios; motion picture studios are manipulating consumers and stealing money from consumers on sales of DVD.
We, the consumers, pay hefty price to purchase a movie DVD. Why so expensive? Is this because DVD itself, plastic itself so expensive? No. Is this because printing a pretty picture on DVD or designing the picture costs so much? No. Presumably, movie DVD is so expensive because it is a copy of "copyrighted" creative work. Let's suppose that the price that, we, the consumers, pay in order to get a copy of "copyrighted" creative work is justified. There is still something wrong here. What is that? DVD is never designed to last for years. If you watch a DVD a dozen times, it gets scratched. Once you watch the DVD a couple of dozen times, the DVD becomes unwatchable. So, if you want to watch the same movie again on DVD, you need to purchase another copy. What does that mean? We need to pay for a copy of "copyrighted" creative work twice. This is unnecessary. All we need to pay for is the price to replace DVD, the plastic itself. That's it. However, this is not the case. The fundamental and the most important design of DVD is to carry a feature to rip off consumers. Therefore, I propose that we, the consumers, file a class action lawsuit against motion picture studios!!!
