Those who disliked Bamboozled don't seem to understand what satire is

After I watched Bamboozled with Spike Lee's commentary, I read several reviews to see what people think about the movie. It seems like that those who disliked Bamboozled don't seem to understand what satire is. I don't mean to offend them or insult their intelligence, but if anyone wants to have a say on the movie, he/she needs to understand what satire is and the fact that Bamboozled is a satire.
There were a bunch of problems with it, though, specifically ones regarding the plot making sense. Some of the sociological commentary is stuff no one else seems to be bothering to say, so I'll give Spike some big credit for that.

Some of comments that characters in the movie make are apparently taken from Spike Lee's personal experience, but they don't make certain controversial comments just because Spike Lee wants to stir up controversy. They make those comments to hold up the audience's vices and follies to ridicule or scorn, and in fact, that is the definition of "satire".
satire

1 : a literary work holding up human vices and follies to ridicule or scorn
2 : trenchant wit, irony, or sarcasm used to expose and discredit vice or folly

The plot may seem odd, but it makes perfect sense if one understand that Bamboozled is a satire.
Bamboozled would have been okay, but it tried to do too much, and it didn't present any explanations, or motivations, just problems.

The purpose of the movie is not to present a solution to existing problems. Though it is fair to criticize the fact that the movie does not present any solution, to present any solution is not any part of the movie's design by definition (of satire).
